The passionate individuals behind our mission to empower widows, uplift orphans, and transform communities.
Founder & Executive Director
Esther Kabeni is the visionary founder of the Royal Great Widows and Orphans Foundation. Driven by a deep personal commitment to social justice, Esther established the foundation to create sustainable pathways out of poverty for widows and orphaned children across Kenya and Canada.
Under her leadership, the foundation has grown from a grassroots initiative to a registered nonprofit operating across two continents, touching the lives of thousands of beneficiaries through education, empowerment, and community development programs.
"Every widow deserves dignity. Every orphan deserves a future. That is why we exist."
Governance & Strategic Oversight
Our dedicated Board of Directors provides strategic guidance, governance, and accountability to ensure the foundation operates with integrity and transparency.
Program Implementation
Our on-the-ground team in Kenya is the backbone of our programs, from organizing table banking sessions and skills training workshops to coordinating school fee sponsorships and feeding programs.
